CBI business group boss Danker sacked after misconduct claims

The boss of one of many UK’s largest enterprise teams has been fired after an investigation into complaints about his conduct at work.

Tony Danker will depart the CBI with instant impact and get replaced by Rain Newton-Smith.

It follows allegations over Mr Danker’s conduct involving a feminine worker.

Three different CBI staff have additionally been suspended “pending additional investigation into quite a few ongoing allegations”, the group stated.
